$5.50 per gallon, sounds like a deal to me. I pay $10 for 4.9 L, (a wee bit more than a gallon?) and $20 for 19.8 L. There is a bulk tank at a gas station south of me, but it costs almost the same and has to be K2 not K1 as they say it is. It is real yellow, and smokes in lamps.Icu4dzs said:I have a number of these lanterns. Some are older and some are brand new. Two of them have a small wire rack so you can cook on top of them. The kerosene is brutally expensive out here...around $5.50/gallon. Needless to say, in a serious power problem, the kerosene will become even more expensive or unavailable. So.....I have changed to a solar emergency kit.
