I love the sliding compound miter saw. It's my favorite. :love

Karen, actually he has a pair of Carhartt overalls he likes wearing, but they are to short and creep in funny places. :bun So we like to joke about them. Getting a pair that fit will be nice.

Actually I bought my dh that Yankee Screwdriver in the Lehman's catalogue. With matching bits. He has every power too known to man. So I figured I would go the opposite way.

Pj's, of course.

Oh I also got that leather fly swatter from the Lehman's catalogue. I'm gonna stick it in his stocking. He hates flies in the house and we burn through the swatters pretty quick. I hope the leather one last. :hu

I got my hubby a Mr. Beer kit, a refill for the Mr. Beer kit (the dopple bock one), a mouth harp, an icecream spade, pine tar soap and shampoo, and I still have to get one more present from him. He's said he wants either Carhartt bibs, a nice multitool like a Gerber or Leatherman, or a new cell phone. I'd do the cell phone if he didn't also want the $30/mo internet package that comes with it! :/

Ugh we just upgraded Tony's phone. He had a very old Nextel and wanted a new one that takes pics etc....and yup he got the internet package but we got the $9.99 per month one. It gives him way more than enough internet time....but in the end I am $64 per month total on that sucker...his old plan with Nextel was $39.

see the word upgrade and run lol

I knew you would pick up on that FC. Who says the Amish don't know how to have fun?

He actually was only wearing the overalls at home. We both wear overalls when we do weekend projects. Well not at the same time or the same pair.....:p Anyways. I think it's the farmer in us.

Hey you and Tony are farmers. Do you wear overalls?

Are ya kidding me Gina?

Tony has like 45 pairs of overalls for all situations, briar patches, light weight for summer, insulated for winter, camo for hunting, waterproof for hunting and farming,... and the list goes on and on

me, I hate the things...I just don't like me in an overall look
last time I chewed on a piece of straw from the pasture I broke my front cap tooth....no more hillbilly for me, cost too much :gig

My husband got his presents early. He wanted to buy a used XBox 360 and I said go ahead. And I bought him a really nice work coat from Cabela's and since it's so stinkin' cold, I went ahead and gave it to him. It was a really good deal at $35. Check it out: Cabela's Roughneck Duck Hooded Work Jacket. I went back and bought another one for myself to wear when I work outside and tend the critters and another one for his brother for a Christmas present. (Aren't I a sweet SIL? :D )

My hubby told me not to buy him anything, but I am getting him 1 thing that he really needs-a pancake compressor. He's been borrowing the neighbor's when he needs one. I'm hoping if he has his own, he'll actually come out to the farm and finish my tack shed!

So what are all you married gals getting the old ball and chain?

I got Tony

1 yr subscription to NC Sportsmen magazine
new shower shave mirror
farmers almanac
new camo belt
2 new sweatshirts (which he needed bad, others are ripped up lol)

that's it and those presents are from Nicole really lol

planning an early spring trout fishing trip in the mountains so that is his real present in a way....cause it takes money to take those trips HAHA
Is there something special about the shower mirror? I usually just buy a hand mirror from Walgreens. Put soap on my face then a little sudsy soap on the mirror. It doesn't fog that way. However if they make a mirror that doesn't fog in the shower I would like to see it.

well they do have the heated mirrors for the shower, but they are more expensive and hubby isn't worth it ----but those are the real good ones.

the one I get is called shower cause it has suction cups and it sticks on the wall at his face level. It has a shelf for his stuff and little holders for the razors to hang. And it comes with "anti-fog" spray. He likes the suctions cause it hangs at face and head level. Tony shaves his entire head...yup he looks like Mr. Clean.

but truly, hit search and do heated shower mirrors and they are just wonderful...never fog but pricey.
