Glad she is back! Guess she figured the grass wasn't as green on the other side as she thought! ;)

Glad she is back!!! Hopefully she was just out running around on her own and there are NO predators at all to worry about just yet. :)

I love that you have a chicken named Zelda. Do you have a Link too, perchance? ;) Glad she came home!
LOL... actually I went to see a magician with my niece and nephew and he had 'Zelda the amazing psychic chicken' with him... I have a poster of her, and since my girls look just like her, one of them became Zelda. We also have Big Bertha, Eight (because she's curious about everything and when we pulled walls apart to fix the coop she got stuck in one.... we figured she's working on her nine lives, and is down to eight), Zelda and Pips (for Pipsqueak, she's the smallest)

FF: predators or no, it really scared me to lose one of the girls so we're busily buttoning down the entire coop as quickly as possible... Nothing should be getting out OR in anytime soon :)

We've still only gotten the one egg, but I figure they're just starting out so it will be a little sporadic.

The strss from being moved will make them lay slowly for a while. Once they get settled in though......
