I am baking BREAD!

And I must confess, this is only me SECOND attempt lol to make white bread I mean.

This time around it is coming along MUCH better than my first attempt I just punched it down, and my two halves are resting for 10 minutes before I shape them into loaves for the oven.

I was hoping to have the bread done in time to have with our pot roast, but it looks like the bread will be for after my pot roast.

Later today, we are making caramel apples!

I just love homemade bread. I like it most when it comes out of the oven and i cut it with an electric knife, works great for me, and then smear butter all over it. Yummy!! Now you have me wanting to make bread.

Well, bread is done. I served one loaf with our pot roast today, and I am sending the other loaf over to a friend

Glad to hear your bread went well. I love to make homemade bread! I lost my sourdough starter and I'm making another. I'll be able to start making my sourdough bread again soon. My family loves it. I make about 6 loaves a week and we use it for lots of things. I make garlic bread out of it for spagetti meals, I use it to make french toast when it starts to dry out. There are so many things you can do with bread.

I also make bread crumbs and keep them in a vacuum sealed jar as the bread gets older. I love to give it away as well.

No nuts, plain caramel. I am weird, as I don't like nuts in anything LOL I like my nuts plain.
