So she is almost dry. On the dry parts I have sanded and they look great. She has been brushed and is very soft. Here she is.....

Don't mean to resurrect an old dead thread, but have any of you tried "brain tanning"? As odd as it may seem, an animal has just enough brain matter to tan its own hide! I found this tutorial online and it looks pretty good, check it out!
