Added make my own cheese to my list of summer do's.

Im really excited, by the time the fall comes, I should have creepies in the freezer, my own cheese and fresh eggs. After we are done building the chicken coop we are gonna make a greenhouse.

Life is so good when you have focus.

My first yogurt came out reeeeal liquid. No one drank it. :hide

I'm going to add gelatin or something to it next time.

Mine turned out fine--a bit runny , but we are used to it. What I always do is strain it--use the yocheese for eating, and the whey for baking. Goat yogurt is especially yummy!

Yeah just strain it. The longer it strains the thicker it gets. The one store bought yogurt I buy uses pectin to thicken it. Don't have a recipe though.
