I got home from work and went out to collect eggs

My girls are pretty lazy, I am not sure they would go after mice.

We bought some crickets when they were younger and they just watched them hop away

I keep a small bucket next to my run for scoping feed. Many times I have gone out to find tiny little mice in the bottom. They manage to get in but cant get out. I just dump them in the run. The chickens have a field day.

I have a neighbor that calls to buy eggs from me. She was asking me about what I feed my hens and made a comment about them eating meat. I told her about the mice and I think she was a bit shocked. Oh well.

I had a two week old baby rabbit fall out of the cage once and before I could get to it my muscovy ducks that were loose had ripped it to pieces. Horrified me. I don't have muscovies anymore.
