Tamlynn, our yard is decent-sized (for L.A.) and our house has a smallish footprint so a lot of our land is yard rather than house, which is nice. The trees will be mostly around the edges of the backyard with grass in the center. I'm glad to hear the mid-pride peach is doing so well! Your plums should do well too. We had a plum tree when we moved in, and even though it was old and falling apart it produced wonderful fruit for several years before we finally had to have it removed.

As for the jujubes, I don't know! That one was an impulse buy. :D

You've GOTTA grow a peach tree. I found out a few years back that peach trees llloooovvveee dry climates. That's probably why I got zero, zilch, nada peaches this year from mine, since it's been the wettest year, I think, on record in Illinois!!! :(
(I had over 500 peaches from my tree just a few years ago. ALSO, I only got a dozen bunches of grapes from my 5 vines--usually there are so many, that I miss many clusters.)
