LOL Oh no money isn't an issue. I can get food. It's time. And the clean up. But yes I would love to learn to cook food that I know my kids will eat. Right now I am not working due to some what high risk pregnancy. But when I am working....I'm a cook and lunch lady at a high school!! I've learned a bit from working there but it's not how I would cook at home. Heck some of those foods I won't even eat.

But really I hate my kitchen. I can't stand to be in it. And I guess I have never, well don't want to say never. I can throw meat in the crock pot or oven and make something to eat but it's getting in to all the spices and what goes with what. I grew up on salt, pepper and butter. I know my mom does use other things but never seen it. And it's crazy because my mom has a garden now and cans and does all kinds of ss type things.

But yeah my kitchen is the room in the house that I hate. It's in the back of the house and it's old. Our house is over 100 yrs old. And to me it does not say Use me! when I walk in. It says fix me please...lol And fixing her isn't going to happen for a while. We have a working kitchen just not a want to work in there kitchen.

Would love to be able to make the great food though. Nothing like Bobby Flay just more like Grandma's good stuff. lol

Whoa wait. Michele. Really? Chickens. Here? I don't know about that. I told you the only thing I know about chickens are grilled, fried, baked and bbq-ed. I'm sure there are other ways, but live chickens. Meh, talk to Chet, he can do the outside stuff I will do the house stuff. LOL And the neighbors like us...not sure what they would think if we got chickens.

:welcome My neighbors like my chickens. They're quieter than dogs, and eat bugs.

Jill there is only ONE way to find out wat the neighbpors would think about you raising chickens  Just kidding, why not ask them if they would be okay with you guys getting a few? :hu IF you want them, that is. The kids WOULD LOVE them I'm sure! Anyway, my two cents is worth about 2 cents, and that's about all I got right now :D :welcome
