Anyone have a recipe for making their own instant pancake mix? I need something I can keep in my tack shed that I can just add water to. Right now, I have some of the store bought stuff, but I want to use it all up and not buy more. It's too much of a hassle to try and make them from scratch if I decide I want pancakes. Plus, it would be hard to keep all the ingredients on hand. Nor do I want something that I need to add eggs, oil or whatever to, just water. I tried googling one, but they all had you mix the dry ingredients, then when you were ready to eat them, add the eggs, etc. :/

Not sure how they will taste without the egg. Flour, powdered milk, baking powder, some sugar, a pinch of salt. Just add water (and an egg if you got them)

In my pantry storage I have dehydrated milk, egg, shortening, butter etc... So for my pancake mix I use the Bob's GF flour mix and a recipe that came in a Make a Mix cook book I got from Emergency Essentials.

Takes a bit of prep work but I only make it once every few months. Once the mix is made it only use 1/1 water and mix.

Works well for my GF kids.

Not sure if that helps. Let me know if you want the recipe.
