we made bean soup this morning, using left-over ham from last Sunday. a little thin and the beans could have cooked a bit longer (they were still done, but a bit firm), but it was edible. good thing as we have a large glass bowl of it to eat plus eight quarts that somehow have to be given away as the freezer is already jam packed.

i had zero plans on doing any cooking or dishes this morning or dealing with the soup once it had cooled off or another round of dishes a bit ago (i don't mind doing them at all). none of that was on my agenda, i planned on being outside and getting my projects going further along. heh...

i'd also started cleaning out a shelf of my closet yesterday (first time since i've lived here since i've emptied that shelf of all my clothes, it is pretty much my entire dresser). i wanted to take stock of all the things i had in there and also get it back to a better semblance of order or something... right now it is all still piled on this futon for the next few hours at least... i'm tired.

Scrambled egg with gr pepper & onion. A DBL yolker. That's prob it for a couple of months for egg. Wish I had thought to open a jar of salsa to top them. The tomato covers the "egg" taste. 😁

I do think I'll boil up a dz for egg salad & into some potato salad. 🙄 Need to eat more of them & just not "fond" of them. Healthy eats tho. And own flock of hens.

Took 2 dz freebies to a friend this morning. And actually sold 3 dz earlier in week. Someone at DDs work wanted farm fresh...she got em. 1-3 days old.
