Howdy! What, no goats yet???

Hi Annette! Nice to meet you! We just planted our first fruit trees this year and the beetles got all the leaves but they have started to grow back so I am hoping they will be okay for next year.

Can't wait to see pics of the place!

I can imagine if my husband is going to make pets out of any future chickens, what would happen with goats. I don't think we have enough room for a goat grave yard We did foster a hound who went to live in his forever home with 2 goats, 1 pig, 1 boa constrictor, 3 cats and 2 little dogs. When we took Dixie with us to see how our foster boy was doing, Dixie was afraid of the goats. Then try to figure why Dixie is not afraid of bears. We were less than 100 yards from a bear and she wanted to go check him out . Have you ever seen a human out run a greyhound?

I'll have to see if I have any decent pics of the homestead. Unfortunately it has taken back seat to finding permanent employment.
