I didn't think about that but I buy clothes bigger for Nicole too. She is in size 5T now (tall girl--LOL and I have to pin the waist) but I am buying size 7-8 on sales and at goodwill and up to size 10 also.

shoes I am getting also. I guess that is smart of us. buy when available and cheap cause yup, they grow fast!

Do you have a pic of Danielle you can post on the 'puter!?

I can try later this week. My computer has not let me upload pics for awhile, but i have not tried for awhile either.
We are doing the Church rummage sale this week & very busy. In fact I need to get off here & get my chores done & schoolwork so we can get to the church by 2 to get started on set up.

We are miles ahead of most folks.

We are conscious. Most people are just running around like a bunch of chickens.

At least we have some idea of what we need and how we need to do things to live comfortably in a time of need.

Karen, I found a few more clothes yesterday at the rummage sale for Danielle & she came up to me with a pair of flip flops that look hardly worn & only a couple sizes too big so I snagged those too. This girl has a horrible shoe fetish(blame my mom) your shoes are fair game in this house as soon as you take them off. And sometimes she is trying to take them off your feet!!:th
We are no where near the end of the clothes being out so there may be more for her(I hope). I even got the Brother Bear 2 movie(dvd) never even opened!!! Can you say Christmas gift? For only $1:weee
I even found some really nice pics to put on some of our still bare walls. A few things for Scott too as he says he is moving out on his own soon. There were cereal containers, dishes(he needs a few more) oh I even found a wood chess set that does not even look like it has ever been used! Scott loves to play chess(he got grandmas set, but it is plastic & a keepsake now). Christmas just got better for my family a whole lot cheaper!! Even found a small train set for Richard still in the box!
Karen(my friend & Scott's mil 2b) got a gift set that is huge & in a wooden tray for a fair gift basket for her son next March. All she needs to add to it is a few lamb items & new cellaphane & a big ribbon(she is ahead). We also found some new shirts for me that look like they were never even worn. I just love these sales!

A DVD for $1
lucky! I look for cheap sales on those DVDs...nicole just loves them! I was lucky enough to get a DVD player in the used SUV I bought. So traveling far she watches a movie...but she likes to change them out alot..LOL----by the way, I never would have bought that DVD in a car, but it came with it....cool sucker! :)

You did good. Yes rummage sales are wonderful.

I think I will get Barb and hit the garage and yard sales this Saturday. I do need to score some cheap presents for Nicole for filler presents, and paying like .50 is my ideal type of price! :)

You did score!!!!!!

If Obama gets elected this country is really going to be in a huge financial down spiral & we are doing everything we can to protect our family food & clothing wise.

.
I think that no matter who gets elected we are heading for more trouble. This deal is much much bigger than any president. Its all created by international bankers and the IMF and the Federal Reserve, which is not a US government institution, as many think and the international power brokers.

All Obama or McCain will be able to do is to try to put out fires as they can.

Here is a very interesting video by Lindsey Williams that some of you may be able to watch if you have broadband or DSL.

I totally agree with you Mackay!

It is not just our country in trouble ... this is a global economy.... even countries like Iceland that are usually not effected are hurting.

We have a BIG WORLDWIDE mess - a new president is just not going to fix it.
