People on BYC said that they are genetically modified. :idunno Course, what do they know, right? Lol.

We butchered 20 of our 25. Those 20 brought about 180 pounds of meat. The other five were smaller at the time so we were going to let them grow out some more. We still haven't butchered them. Four are hens and are great layers. But yes, they are huge and very meaty.

We have pictures of our butcher chickens years ago, much smaller at adult age compared to todays. We had one that was 7 years old because, I would assume we were too lazy to butcher? Lol.
She only died because a coon got her.
