If so, the future is stupid! A diesel powered van, towing a battery bank to charge a dead electric car. Brilliant, just brilliant! NOT.

I have wondered for years when someone was going to come out with an electric car tow package . Then you pull a properly sized gunny for the electric car for long trips.

I've seen more and more cars on the roads with small solar panels on their roofs. Charging batteries as they drive I assume. I have seen solar panels on caravan set ups for years but was surprised at the sudden increase in them on car roofs lately. I hope my current car survives until the upgrades are cheaper!

Maybe it'll be in a camper, so you can campout while you charge your battery.

The most stupid advertisment I seen is for an electric tractor. The tractor has mirrors so you can check your look why doing whatever you could do on an electric tractor. Can you imagine running out of juice on the back 40. What your gonna run a 40 acre extension cord to charge your tractor. You just can't make this stuff up.
