Hope to see it go below $2 here, if only for a little while. It's at $2.22 as of yesterday. Haven't driven by today.
Don't be lulled by these prices, I don't believe they'll last. We bit the bullet and bought one fuel efficient car, and someday I'd like to do it again - when we get this one paid off. This is one of the reasons why we're in a pickle right now, people didn't learn their lesson last time this happened back in the early 70's. Maybe this time business will really pay attention and come up with some good alternatives, they surely didn't through the 80's and 90'spunkin said:yesterday. Our local Raceway had it for $1.99 gal. It hasn't been below $2.00 in years.
We had actually thought about buying a more economical vehicle when prices were sky high. All our vehicles average about 15 mpg. We didn't think we would save enough on gas for a car payment. I'm so glad we just drastically cut back on going. If I had a new car payment now with prices so low, I would be sick.
That car is too cool , john , unfortunately I could never fit my kids all in there Interesting link !Waiting for the plug in electric car! But don't want to give up my 4WD and wood hauling ability.
