So what to do what to do what to do....

I'm cleaning my kitchen I hate washing dishes

OH

and I'm baking!

Mostly comfort foods, to soothe my lamenting over the raining. Chocolate chip cookies! Blueberry muffins!

Making spaghetti for dinner with garlic bread.

Not raining here(Oklahoma). This morning I cut a couple of trees town around my aunts house. In a bit I'm going to work on our deck, rake the backyard, and clean the chicken pen. But first, like you, going to clean the kitchen...and yes dishes suck lol. Have a good one

I did another batch of soap. My third, hope it turns out.

We just had spicy potato soup and I have brownies in the oven.

Raining on and off. I have baked a cinnamon cake, garlic biscuits and beer bread for the freezer so far. Tonight will be the TollHouse cookies I forgot to make last night.

yep. rainin'..... i did my baking yesterday so today - nothing but sloth! yipee!!!

actually we got a DVD set from the library and i'm OD-ing on tv

wow we got a real gullywasher earlier today - we JUST ran the turkeys in and pow! rain in buckets

No rain here....hot as heck actually. After a few hours out in the heat this morning at a football game I have spent the rest of the day inside my nice climate controlled home!

Made some croutons, corn tortilla, salsa and corn salad. Dh has a couple chickens on the rotisserie.

Just chillin....gonna have a yummy dinner and then make an adult beverage and watch a movie!

cinnamon cake
Its also known as poor mans cake...its easy, good and freezes very well! You could ice it..but I just use the cinnamon-sugar as in recipe. I do mix in a cup of chopped pecans in the batter...I haved pulled this out of the freezer for company and they loved it.

Vodka & Cranberry with a little pinapple juice for good measure.

Either that or a French Martini - vodka, pineapple and Chambord...shaken well and very icy! Yum!
