Kabobs!
Cut on the cross grain into cubes and then marinate the meat before assembling the kabobs to help make a tough meat more tender.

Soak the kabob sticks in water before assembly. Stack with cubes of fresh zucchini, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and other veggies that you like best. and grill till done.

Your hubby will NOT complain and it is Gluten Free!!

It's actually the stringy nature I liked in chili. I think that's why my leftover chili kept "doubling" on me and could be stretched with only tomato juice. Then again I cook mine very long and slow till it falls apart, which is probably WHY it's stringy?

How about a dish that normally uses stringy meat? Maybe BBQ sandwiches -- like pulled pork but it's actually pulled beef? Or would he be ok with that texture in Mexican?

Hmmm ... I'd hate to not be able to use chuck roasts. I buy very little beef, but probably 75% of the beef I use is chuck.

I sometimes compare the price of ground chuck to chuck roast and if the roast is cheaper I grind it in my food processor. Ground chuck = no strings.

Great sugestions :)

I like stringy meat...as long as it is a good texture, not dry.

I appreciate the ideas!

Telling him that he should be absolutely blessed to even have food while so many others around the world are starving to death doesn't work? You're a turd head
Most days I pick enough food out of my teeth to feed all of Ethiopia but give it to my dogs instead as they at least try to fertilize the yard and grow things rather then waiting for rice to drop from the sky.

Ever since BBH turned me on to the pokey pot of pulled pork every time I smile it looks like I just ate a meat harp. By the way never smile at a pitbull after eating sting meat as they can't tell the difference between that and your face since they are both made out of meat.

You don't like fasting and you don't like starvation, what do you like? Besides your pork face.

Neither of which are healthy for man nor beast, except sea monkeys and brine shrimp.

Each species has it own natural feeding schedule, a humming bird eats more often then a snake and both would perish if deviated from. Humans because of their so called intellect cause more harm then good to themselves which is not a bad thing as long as Darwin is right.

I like to stretch a chuck roast so I always use chuck for veggie soup. Brown it, stick it in the uh...pokey pot, cook it till it's falling apart, then shred or dice it and make your favorite soup with it. It gets so tender. Veggie soup, beef mushroom soup, beef barley soup, beef and noodles for the pro-carb crowd...
