Lori, isn't that the truth, its like justice was served.
Hey G, I tried the second battery, to recharge it, it failed to recharge, so I took it back, got my money back and went to another store and bought another deep cycle battery.
I am running a total of 10 lights, 60 watt, usage of 13 watts, so all together 130 watts. I tried to find out more on the amperage usage as well, didn't locate anything for the CFB units. So I got the lights to run for 3 hours on the nose before the battery failed. Its taking a charge now.
I also found a larger gas tank to fit the generator which will allow it to run for a total of 86 hour before it will need to be refilled. Because I will be only running it 6 hours a night, so that will get through the show for the week. I also opted for the small 1000 watt peak unit, 750 steady load generator which is about a third less.
When I had my whole house generator installed, I opted for the high range unit so that everything in the house could run if needed. On a well system, no power means no water, with the power being out 19 days in VA after a hurricane, I learned that having a whole house unit was a good thing. I brought that unit with me here when I moved.
Couple years ago, our 1st winter a bad ice storm moved through, power was out for 11 days. Although we had everything else, we had no heat. With all the trees and free wood, DW had nothing but to agree to get a woodstove to help the gas bill as well as heat the house when/if the power goes out in the winter.
I sold my first dozen eggs today for 2.50 a dozen.

that money goes back into my ss fund. 24 more dozen to go so I can rent the post hole digger, I should start getting 3-4 dozen eggs a week soon.
Everything else is going fine, worried about the blight spreading to my baskets now. Paul Sr. told me that it also spreads to potato plants as well. I watched on the news last night where one farmer, a tomato farmer lost his whole crop this year in 3 counties east of me. I hadn't heard anything about it effecting potatoes until last night. I looked it up when I got home, and sure enough.
I have sprayed them with copper sulfate as a preventative measure, but thats not a 100% either. Might be a year like black 47 in Ireland. Lets hope not, if so happen to have a anti blight fairy in your garden send her my way.
