Java and SKR8PN - doin' ok with these storms? *Northen Ohio folks???

I love Marshall McPeek. When we lived in Toledo many years ago he was a newbie to the broadcasting world - and even more of a dork than he is now Then we moved here and he followed us! I like to watch him and Mindy on the weekends.

The storms just passed us here on the other side of the lake. Got LOTS of rain that we needed., t-storms were not too bad.

I am HOPING we missed all the storms because I was busy canning and did not even turn on the TV, computer, or radio until just now!

Apparrently, we have a storm the size of Australia headin for us for us to enjoy over the weekend

well.

that was kind of a lulu. i'm guessing there are going to be a lot of storm damage reports tomorrow from around the area.

fortunately it barely scraped us.

but not before we DID snatch up all the cats, shove them in carriers, and hot step everyone down into the basement.

and then....

....nothing... it just clipped us.

so whew!

but wow we really moved fast. Pepper got the worst of it. i crammed her, yowling and scratching, into a carrier that realistically only really fit her right back leg. so she is really mad. but she was safe. when i opened it up to let her out she started shrieking again and i handed a howling, hissing, octopus to The Big Man and told him she was all his. Little Mo is in my lap right now - shaken and unhappy about the events. he's kind of a tender vittle.

we just got in from feeding and watering everyone outside. we had shoved everyone in so fast that they are all kind of confused. the former Inside Meeps got the ride of their life. half way to their coop the both stopped and wouldnt move... so we scooped them up, threw them over our shoulders and ran.

but whew! looks like we are all clear


and yes java i LOVE Marshall! he's a great news guy and i like to watch him on sunday too! whoot!

We just have some light rain now. I thought it was all done but I will definitely take this light rain. Hopefully it will actually soak into the ground and give everything a good watering.

Lots of damage in Ohio today. OSU-Wooster campus destroyed, and Athens county has major damage,just to name a couple places.
