LOL I have a Pat... but she is a beautiful she  It's my bullied little buff brahma - when I call "Pat Pat!" she comes running like a plantation lady holding up her hoop skirts. She's a sweetie!

I know you must be horribly disappointed that you have that little hen instead of a roo, so because I am a "giver" you can have your pick of my five!! :D

I think I'll pass on your roos Al :D They tend to have mysteriously short lives around here anyway...

My friend came over and butchered 3 of my 6 incubator roos... but I just couldn't let them have the 3 I kept, they are insanely beautiful and sweet so far. But what the heck am I gonna do now? LOL
I'm thinking I need to make a roo bachelor pad on the backside of my barn, under the big black mulberry tree..... about 60ft from my neighbor who shot Rio with rocksalt last Thanksgiving. :D

What's up?

I just rolled out of bed. I slept in. I needed it. Stupid shark week is making me lose sleep, but I can't help it - I must watch it. Strange addiction :p

Funny story - couple nights ago my son fell out of bed or something that made a loud noise right above my room. I was dreaming about sharks and I thought a great white was coming right thought the ceiling to eat me. I think I had a small heart attack or a stroke or something like that. :gig

I planted a couple of sunflowers in with my pole beans so the beans could climb them. Um... I think I'm going to have a problem reaching the beans - my hubby is 6'2" and this sunflower is now over 13 feet tall  Dude, where's my ladder?
