Although I don't really like "Everything I Want to Do," I do think Salatin has a lot of good ideas about food production and farming, and the fact that he's getting those ideas out there is good for the evolution of food production in this country. His essay in the book Food, Inc., for example, was one of the best in the book.

Joel has some pretty strong views about a lot of things and doesn't mind using his books to tout them.....as so many use their posts for this on these forums. :rolleyes: Hey, who wouldn't, if they wanted them known, use their own books to slide them in for general consumption? :p

I don't care about his religion or politics, but you can't deny his farming has been a success. ;)

I would not read one of his books just based on what I have read here. All the garbage would make me upset.
Heck, if I used this as a thumb rule for my reading, I'd never read another newspaper or magazine again! :lol:
