I hate taking my tree down too. We are taking ours down tomorrow :hit

It's totally dead and droopy now though so it's time for it to go. It had a branch that broke in the middle, so from that spot down it died two weeks before Christmas

Yay for getting your hair cut!!

There must be something wrong with me. I love getting the tree out of my house and I hate getting haircuts. LOL But I will confess that since I have a live tree I get kind of excited about moving it to the yard which makes taking it down more fun. My grandson took all the decorations off Monday. Its been sitting in my living room like that since. Hopefully we will get it planted tomorrow.

Sorry about your dinner. Sounds like a mixture of loved it/hated it.
Maybe they were just having a bad night. People calling in sick or just not wanting to work and not showing up.

Do you have your recipe for Hawaiian bread posted anywhere? I would love to give it a try.

Okie - I got a Leland Cypress about 3 1/2 feet tall. We purchased one last year but it was smaller and died during the summer. So I purchased a larger one this year with a different location in mind and higher hopes. I have a cedar planted in a pot in my back yard that we will transplant into the pot the cypress came in. Hopefully next year it will be big enough to bring in and use as a Christmas Tree and then moved to the yard. I use earrings and light weight blingy bracelets to decorate them with. I also have some really small light weight Christmas balls but mostly use jewely.

Okie - no unfortunately there was so much going on I did not even think to take a pic of the tree.
I will do better next year. LOL

KJM - I can't wait to try that recipe. Saturdays is usually my bread baking day - so maybe tomorrow if I have everything. Not sure about those potato flakes. Maybe I will do a quick run thru my cabinets to make sure and then run to the store for anything I don't have. It sounds super good.
