We have picked most of our green tomatoes etc this week. We are supposed to be getting a frost tonight!

Can't say I am looking forward to winter. We still don't have a single stick of firewood and probably won't be affording any for a bit. :/ At least we have a well insulated house and a good furnace.

yea no fat happens when smaller hogs are processed. happened a few times to us when our hogs were smaller and demand was high. we processed before top hog weight. but it still tastes ok but the true fat makes it taste a whole lot better lol

Snow? Wow! One of these days I am going to make a trip and take my sons to see snow. Wonder what they will think of it?
