Of course! I am from New England....when we say tea, it means hot. When we mean cold, we say iced tea. I ordered tea in a restaurant for breakfast the first time I went to OKC and was shocked when the waitress brought me a big glass of iced tea! The didn't even have any tea bags to bring me hot tea! She said no one ever asks for it.

Ha! You can get hot tea around here, but of course we have a lot of you d**n yankees moving here for the ambiance & biscuits

DH had the worst time getting sweet, iced tea when he was driving the truck in the northern states. "These people don't know what iced tea is! It's cold, but it doesn't have any sugar!! And I got gravy on my fries last night, what's up with that??"

I love how sometimes we can live just a few states apart, and still it seems like we're speaking a foreign language. :gig

BBH, fancy teapots are girly!

NCL, you can now get sweet tea at McD's in my town. HFCS, no doubt! Costs them 5 cents to make it and they sell it for a dollar, at least that is what the sign by the street said. Haven't been in there for food in years. I went in a few months ago to get pickle buckets, the found out they are not five gallon buckets but little flimsy square things that they drop into a slot in the prep table. Sheesh!
