The ice started about 1:30pm. It is light but has already coated everything. DH is finishing plowing the driveway. Usually our truck sits outside but I moved stuff around in one of our barns and managed to get the truck in. I certainly don't need a thick layer of ice over the truck.

Nope. Went to work yesterday but told everyone that he will be working from home at least Tues and Wed.

The ice is really coming down hard now. It is little ice pellets. I'm hoping it stays the pellets and doesn't warm up to freezing rain or something. We could probably shovel the ice pellets if we needed to. Plus I think if it stays pellets, then we won't have to worry about losing power.

Gabrielle kidded on 2/9/11. She had 2 bucks. I don't own Gabrielle but the boys are out of my male Categorized. Here are some pics of them:

Gabrielle and her kids - they are all very black, my camera flashed and they are under heat lamps

Both boys are mainly black. The one that looks like he is all black actually has a square patch of white on his stomach. They are nursing and doing well.

Here is a picture of one of my little guys. I had to kick the older kids out into the regular goat area so I put sweater vests on the boys. Unfortunately, the one boy pee'd on his vest so I had to take it off before I could get pictures.

I also have some exciting news (I think). I have an interview on Monday Feb 14 at Meyer Hatchery for a job. It is part time and seasonal so I thought that would be a good way to get back into the working world and they are very close to my house. We will see what happens! :D

My goat breeder has a black female that looks just like the one with the white ears. I've been trying to talk them out of her :D
Oh, and good luck with Meyer's!!
