They also had a pink and purple flower the same size as the peacock but hubby couldn't get a good pic from where we were standing....too many little branches from a tree in the way.
We're thinking of doing more stuff at the botanical gardens....they have a sand garden, playhouse, huge gnarly old tree for the kids to play on, and a water play area for the kids in the summertime. The bad thing.....it's 45 minutes away in town. Still to go once a month wouldn't be a big deal. They have classes for kids too.
