Super Self-Sufficient
well we survived the 4th!! it was sooooo hot, 104. and we cooked a whole hog and most of the men were up till after midnight drinking. grrr. we had to go pick up the hog at 5 am. the men put it on and when it was done, they opened the skull and ate the brains and eyeballs.
. but i did gat pics of the fire. we had 520,000 firecrackers on the fire this year.
so here we go....

and how do you light a big fire like this, you might ask???- with a big a** flame thrower of course!!!

in the center is my uncle, and on the left is my grandma
in the center is my uncle mike. he had my kids convenced untill they were @ 5-6 that he stole belly buttons and hung them on his wall.

i did get a video but i have to figure out how to get it off my phone. i also have more pics.
we also went to the sale today. sold the last of the puppies. and some misc stuff. and got a pair of english lops!!!!!!

i only had to give $50.00 for the pair. and they are pedigreed. thay are only 3 months old. but the male had torn his ear and cant be shown and the female is showable. the guy gave $300.00 and drove to texas for the grandfather of the male. all the rabbits on their pedigrees have lots of points and legs. not sure what that all means but i love them!! i will get pics tomarow.
