SUCCESS......

WE FOUND DOZER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we got a tip last night from some people that had seen my stolen ad on fb. sheriff wouldnt do anything last night. but we called his deputy and my dh cousin (the county detective)and he got right on it he was found in illinois. the warsaw cop found him just outside city limits on the new highway. he brought him to the city pound (aka a dog pen behind the police office) and he somehow got out of there and the girl that had him found him running town.

the person that stole him must have gotten scared and dumped him. in less thatn an hour of finding him stolen i had him posted on 50+ facebook sites and 10 craigslists. plus other sites.

daddy took him for a hamburger at mc donnalds. and now they are cuddling and napping.

so glad hes home!
thats a huge fear of mine is someone taking my animals...
they usually steal purebred dogs (especially EB's/rare breeds) with the intent of breeding or selling as breeders...
they also steal bully types to train/use for fighting and small dogs as bait dogs.
ive been warned many a time to never leave my dozer out in the yard for the "hell be stolen" reasoning.
its why i make sure everyoenknows...he LOVES dogs but hates people and is neutered...(less likely to risk dog napping a very large human agessive dog who would be useless for fighting or breeding) even if its not nesicrily thewhole truth lol.

gld hes home and back to living the correct style of doggy life!

if they came in and all the took ws the dog its someone who knows/has seen you with the dog and knows where you live. (or someone local who knows and has told "frineds")
if this was just a random break in they would have at least picked up other things before going "hey look thts an expensive dog" but to break in go straight for the crate and remove the dog...thats someone on a mission. they knew the dog lived there, and have been watching you guys is my bet.

yes. if it was a random break-in, there was my laptop and a gun dh just sleaned on the table 3 feet from his kennel. and 2 other hand guns less than 10 feet from his cage that they had to walk by to go to him (in very plain sight). there is a safe (unlocked at the time) that had other handguns. and there is a rack by the front door that had 4 rifels and shotguns on it. not to mention the other electronics. not to mention the 4 chinchillas and 3 hedgehogs that could have been sold for @100-150 $ each. so yes we were targeted for the dog ONLY. :idunno

i had the lady from the local shelter helping. and she said to sit and wright out all the deliveries we have had in the past 2-3 months. (ups, fedex, ect) and i told her other than the mail we dont get anything delivered. but then i was telling hubby we were going to need wood. and it hit me like a ton of bricks! and i told dh that we DID have a dilivery, the wood! and wasnt he from hamelton? (a town @4 miles from warsaw where he was found) and he looked at me and said no...... he was from warsaw!!!!!!!!!!!!!! could that be it? dont know. but odd....

the lady at the shelter is chipping our dogs for cost. $10.00 per dog. so they are all getting done!

very GOOD plan...
deifnatly sounds a little more than conicidence
and unforutnatly this kind of dog napping is more common than one would wish/hope...
people see an english bulldog and unfortunatly SOME see $2000+ per puppy...
