Sugary water ie honey water sounds good to me, I also give yogurt. Electrolites are good too. You can buy a product at the feed store for chickens that has electrolites in it among other nutrients. This is good to have on hand any time your chickens are stressed by anything. Especially good in hot summer weather. Around here it costs about $5 for a package.

To get this liquid into the chicken you can use an eyedropper and dribble it onto it's beak. If you don't have an eyedropper you can use, cut a straw to about 3 inches. Then you can put the straw in the liquid, put you index finger on the top opening of the straw and then hold the straw over the chicks beak. When you remove your index finger a little, the liquid will dribble out.

Good luck with the chick. But don't get too upset if it doesn't make it. These things happen.

So sorry. But these things do happen. I always figure that there must have been a good reason. Someting was probably wrong with the chicks insides, so Mother Nature took it back for a do-over. :hugs
