Always doing laundry
So, last night I was working a charity event with my friend the cake lady. We handed out cookies and set up some show cakes and a digital photo album so everyone could see some of her stuff. We won the cookie contest between all the booths! Cinnamon Chocolate Chip cookies. Everyone loved them.
It was an event for Chocoholics....no kidding. Everything was donated to charity and it was held at the Richmond Holocaust Museum....cause you know when I think of the holocaust I think of chocolatey goodness Funny thing was, none of the proceeds went to the museum, they just rented out the building for the event. It was a little odd.
In the middle of it I got a phone call from our realtor and the closing went through last night!!! We are getting a check for just under $25,000. Not as much as we had hoped for initially but I'm not complaining at all. In this economy I am grateful for what I could get!
I feel like I can breathe now. Credit cards...paid. Money in the construction account....done. Money in savings just in case something happens....done.
So now we have the one mortgage, utilities, car payment, insurance, groceries, feed. It just feels really good to have a cushion in the bank now.
This weekend we were going to get the barn finished but uncle got called into work this weekend cause someone is sick so I think we may work on the garden space/fencing this weekend instead.
