Im finally going to be home for a week and this is something I have wanted to do for a while. And since my sister and mom will be at Ball Camp for three days and I will be with the Granny catching up on Homestead chores. I figure we can do it one day this next week.

Here is what I want to do. I want to make it without raw milk (considering I cant get any) and make it within three days and in big batches. I would also like to preserve it somehow. Maybe freeze it? Would it keep, lose taste, how long would it keep?

Any help would be appreciated!!

Can you buy heavy cream in a store like Kroger or Walmart?

We have taken heavy cream (store-bought) and shaken it in a glass canning jar until it made butter. Took a while.

There's a way to can it but I don't know where my instructions are. Freezing might be your best option.
