there's always been that joke that once cats got opposable thumbs so they could work the can opener, they wouldn't need humans anymore... well, two of those cats have opposable thumbs (polydactyly) and they haven't bothered to ever lift a finger to do anything around here- not even to work the can opener!

if they aren't lazy then they all have narcolepsy, cause that's ALL THEY EVER DO. seriously. and they really like sleeping on machinery and tools and giving you severe stink eye looks when you have to move them.

eta: i took that pic several hours ago. i just went out to see if they had moved. well, the only thing that's changed is that the 3rd kitten has made her way onto the lawn mower too..... sheesh!
