Oh my goodness -- I literally burst put laughing when I saw them piled under the car!

I guess you do have some lazy cats. Mine sleep a lot, but they are active at times. They have decided killing things is not fun though, because they stop moving then. So now they just play with what they find and occassionaly bring it to me (no thank you, I did NOT need a live beetle/cricket/whatever delivered to me in bed!!!)

The white one on top looks almost just like my precious girl, who is very sick right now. :( My boy looks like the orange striped ones.

My cat only moves with the sun, he lies on my windowsil in the morning, then moves to the living room when the sun moves that way....

His most important job is sleeping with the small child, and he goes to bed WAY early to make sure he's there on time!

I too, giggled when I saw the massacre under the car! My Speedy, who departed a few weeks ago, was an orange cat. What a boy he was.

Gorgeous cats! I like the ring tail on the big one (mama?)
funnily enough, the big one is their older brother, Tommy. as soon as Tommy could get at them, he decided that they were here especially for him. he's been the best big brother/substitute parent ever. they follow him around and sleep with him and he grooms them. it's really cute.

their mother, Hemingway, was a really great mom. she nursed the kittens until they were about 10 or 11 weeks. and then she just up and left one day. we thought it was her way of weening them (we'd taken Tommy and his litter mates away at 8 weeks to ween them) but she didn't bother coming back.

other than a few days of the kittens being a bit milk grumpy, they haven't really even acted like the miss mom, cause Tommy is always there to look after them.

their father was my sweet boy Fig, who I had to have put down the day after the kittens were born. i really, really should have found homes for them by now, but i'm having a hard time letting go of those cute little orange tabbies who look just like their daddy.

that, and i don't think Tommy would forgive me.

I can't walk outside without mine being under my feet....I wish she would go lay down sometimes!
my sister's cat, who currently lives with me, is like that. she's one of those totally insane cats that wants you to be in physical contact at all times but if you try to pick her up she goes completely ballistic. we have to have her sedated to trim her nails. but i can't take more than 2 steps outside with her wanting to be petted.

i can't wait til my sister takes her back.
