maple syrup

I'd love to be able to make my own syrup, but I don't have any maples in my yard. I mostly have oaks. :/

Raro, if you can post pics of the leaves of your maple, as well as the buds, I may be able to ID it for you. Also, take a look at the sap, and see what color it is.
