I know people my mother's age that can't set the stations on one of those. My first car was a 1980 Malibu with one of those AM radios. The '79 Blazer that my brother got at least had one in AM/FM. Youngest brother got a late 70s Firebird also with AM/FM. Yes, my parents were nice and gave us the cars they were going to sell anyway.

Jacks! Yes! I need to get some for my granddaughters—and send them HOME with them! Anybody know where I can get some?

I remember only having AM radios in cars. Along with no AC and wing vent windows. When traveling, we’d run out of range of a radio station and my Daddy would turn the knob, trying to find another one. And the static noise!
