p.s. i wasn't just making that up to be funny, though the pun was intended it might have fallen a bit flat.

really though, i did get a lot of use out of those sandals and they finally gave up when the leather rotted but the soles were in good condition and i considered trying to rebuild them but unlike the Six Million Dollar Man i did not have the technology when they blew out...
