My grandmother, mom, me. My husband actually asks if scissors are safe to use now. I told them that if they are on the fridge in the magnetic sheath it's safe.

not a problem here. Mom keeps hers in her sewing stuff and i keep my scissors here on the shelf. the two shall not cross (unlike the scissors themselves )...

we have hangers in the garage for the weeding and garden scissors. the cooking and eating scissors go in the drawer by the rest of the silverware and gadgets.

we were just talking the other day about a very nice pair of shiny scissors that Mom wanted to use for gardening, but her fingers won't work with them. note, i discourage her use of such things this way anyways because i don't think it does her hands any good, but she'll still ignore me anyways sometimes.
