The table was a gift from my Dad when I got my first house. I was using a card table up until then. I've often thought of selling it, because let's face it, I'm hardly going to have formal dinner parties here 
Anyone that comes over, we hang out in the kitchen even though there's a perfectly good sofa & loveseat in the library. I wonder why that is? Just seems like the right place to be.

OMG how have I missed this??? And I just thought I'd let you know that I am en route to your house to live. I'll stay in the cabin with the chickens (we'll have a grand time), as long as I don't have to deal with the Emu. I've heard they are mean!
Seriously, I love your house! How awsome it would be to have all of that to yourself...aahhh (minus the turd for a neighbor). Would the neighbors think you were living in sin if another woman was there? HA! Just kidding!

There actually is a pair of ladies up the road a ways that are gay.
Everyone is scared to death of them - as if it's contagious or something.
I've met them and they're very nice and perfectly content to shut out the world & live in their little house. Everyone should be so happy...
But yeah, it is nice to have all this room. Even after 4 years I still sometimes look around and can't believe the place is mine. If only the lawn was self mowing, but after all this snow, I think I'd actually be glad to have to mow!
