I watched that video, how cool!
Because I always ask "why", or in this case "how"- did she have a mic on while she sang that? It looked too good to be dubbed over.
DH was a studio musician in his spare time.

What is on the menu at your house this Christmas?

Tonight we have a seafood feast featuring shrimp cocktail, oyster stew and fried scallops with rice pilaf and chocolate mousse for dessert.

Tomorrow morning bacon, eggs and homemade cinnamon rolls with extended family.

Christmas dinner to be traditional turkey dinner with free range homegrown turkey (Thomas) as the centerpiece.

Tonight I'm having a sub from Subway because I'm stuck at work and it's the only thing open right now.

In the morning I'm having bacon, eggs and french toast, with homemade maple syrup...mmmm

Tomorrow will be turkey day, with turkey, stuffing, carrots, corn, homemade rolls, pumpkin pie and whipped cream.... pretty simple.

Hot minty cocoa and eggnog (with rum) for snuggling and watching Christmas movies, just the two of us.

DH and I don't go anywhere, and no one comes to us on Christmas day.... it's our relaxing, stay in PJ's day

Boxing day is going to be our running around visiting day.

Happy Winter Solstice and Yule everyone!

-On that note, I often hear people complaining about being told 'Happy Holidays' because it is supposed to be 'Merry Christmas' and vise versa etc. etc. etc.


I'm just glad SOMEONE is wishing me a Merry or Happy ANYTHING! I think it's great that people are saying warm greetings to others PERIOD. And the diversity of individual beliefs is a great thing.
