Wow, that's scary. Could it be some pinched nerves relating to her back problem??

Look on the positive side. You know about it now and can help her to see a doctor and figure out whats going on. She sounds like a wonderful woman.

I am glad to hear you all will be slowing things down a bit.

That is really scary. At least she lives close by so that you can keep a good eye on her.

Are you planning to go to a Dr visit with her? Sometimes older people need a little push....not that she is not capable but having someone else ask questions and make demands is sometimes a good thing.

No need to go to the Drs. wtih her cause she goes like every month for insulin checks and her back is bad with that fracture from the car wreck...and she is going now for those back problems.

she said she told the Dr. about this but of course, no "in your face cause" at this point so it is kinda being dismissed I think......but she said she will ask again and bring it up strong this time about what might be happening.

Come to think about it she has that sleep apnea thing...she has a mask that she sleeps with at night. Maybe all the stuff together is doing something...I don't know.

Talked with her a bit ago, she said all is fine....so hmm.....


I am not a good "under pressure scary sitatuion" person..LOL...I am strong but not during medical stuff at all. She scared me big time. I am the type that needs to punch the 911 numbers and get some one here to take care of medical problems. I am weak in that dept..LOL

I see it more as a sign. Tony is not great. He feels better, never got an answer about his medical problems truly, his heels hurt now on those 12 hr. days on concrete 4 days a week with work--then the farm work. He is crippling around and always stiff as a board. I want to slow down before I break down. I can see it coming after years of hard physical work. I see it now with Rachel and Ralph (FIL) had his full share of medical problems.

I think it is time to re-direct the priorities in life and make some changes.

I don't think---I know for a fact it is time. So new adventures to handle which is nice to think about for the future.

Life has stages. I think it is time to bust thru to a new stage. Nothing wrong wtih that to me. But tired of fighting the changes that need to be made. I am going to sit back and realize these changes and slow everyone's work load down.

Man oh man. That kind of sounds like a panic attack to me too but with all the other problems, who knows.

she says all is fine and acting perfect.

I just hate to see someone not "good" ya know.

I like to see great health in people.

But I know she will take care of herself. She gives and cares about others so much she doesn't give herself that rest time. I will try to force that..LOL

Ok Karen, this may not be your strength but get that woman in to a Dr. She needs to be evaluated. It could be a precursor to something dreadful and permanent.

We had a friend who was sick, thought he had the flu. He described some concerning symptoms to my Hubby. I thought it sounded like a stroke. Dh insisted on taking him to the hospital....totally against his wishes. He thought he just needed to rest Sure enough he had had a series of small strokes and was primed for a massive one.

You just never know and you can't take chances.
