Mini Spiced Pears

Ever since I learned to can (as in canning) I had made spiced miniature pears. I have not been able to get the mini pears for several years now and between moving and other "disasters" the recipe has been lost. I now can get the pears but haven't been able to find a recipe that seems to come close! They are packed as whole pears. HELP!!! Some may know them as pickled spiced pears. Please help me find a recipe!!! Thanks!

I make somthing call Christmas Pears that have cinnamon red-hots in them and they are done whole. Is this the recipe you are looking for? I will go dig it up if you want it.

No, didn't have cinnamon candies... but I have done crab apples that way. Thanks for offering!.
You may want to post it anyway in case someone would like to try them.
