My mistake. I'll ask to have this deleted and continue working on it for me alone.

Sorry.
Oh dear, I hope this isn't because of what I wrote. I'm sorry if it was misunderstood. I DO think the idea is a good one, but maybe a general list rather than a specific one.

For the garden I have found this useful: http://bioarray.us/Skippy's planting calendar.html

Thank you, HW, Calen and Neko. I'll continue to edit the first post when I get a chance. Unfortunately, I spent most of this evening chasing our horrible neighbor's black cat out of my chicken coop. Guess they don't get to free-range tomorrow.

I don't think it should be deleted either...I think it can be a huge help to people in the long run!

Since getting over myself and "I refuse to live that way (gardening/canning what we grew as a kid)", I find myself in my mid 40's and embracing how I was raised, after all these years. It's a great feeling for me (and my mom is thrilled that one out of three of us don't think she's utterly nuts!).

In our second year of living the homesteading kinda life and trying to be more self sufficient, I've gone from being too far behind "seasonally" to being only a month behind and at this point, I'm right on time with working the fall garden since our spring garden was a flop due to weather extremes.

I'll get my list up in a day or so!

Thanks for getting this started MKLG!
