Thanks ya'll, yes I am really thinking about the warm glaze, it would probably warm it up that step more and bring out details, you're right, pinkfox.

I haven't even gotten near the chicken coop and the gardens yet...but I better soon because I have chicks arriving on the 29th of May! They might end up in the garage for a week or so...LOL...hubby will love that. (sarcasm) LOL

Lovely, I like the idea of doing something a bit warmer with the cupboards too. Glad to hear the move went well and you're settling in.

Been busy! Very very busy, and loving every busy moment of it! I LOVE this place...the house is still really unorganized...found out we had to pull all the carpet when my son started having asthma attacks...so right now we have bare floors is most of the house, waiting for flooring...and all the trim is down because the windows were supposed to be replaced but didn't come in on time...we're still waiting for them.
But on the bright side....been working on gardens, renovating my small 'barn'...GOT BIRDS!
Here are some pics of my home sweet home.

This is a before pic of the barn...no floor...and it is rotton everywhere...but we are working on it.

My smll flock of young Brahmas I picked up yesterday...they aren't looking very healthy right now...missing feathers, they were wayyyy overcrowded. But they will come around with some good healthy free ranging. They are 17 weeks so should be laying soon I think.

Looks great Morel!

How is the house coming along? Sounds like you still have quite a bit of work going on :)

We haven't stopped long enough to breath since May 1st! I got so tired that I almost had a meltdown last week, but took a couple of days to relax a little and then went at it again! We finally sold our other house but they aren't taking over until August so we have to carry both mortgages until then :( But at least it sold Well puter time for me is over for the day...gotta get at it...still TONS to do! Thanks for the encouragement everyone!
