Pretty funny, mtn. My wife got a kick out of it too. We have been fans for years but are just now taking FPU for the first time.

Yep. I miss the north. We used to live in Iroquois Falls, ON. Look it up. Not as far north as B brooks, but... I miss it terribly.

Our church has been offering FPU for the last two years. Hubby was saved just this past summer. One of my Christian radio presets in the car have
Dave in the evenings and apparently he has had that radio station on and conveniently Dave is on on his ride home from work..But, when I said i wanted to take FPU, he said--what can theytell us that we don't already know.

It seriously is amazing ,ast least to me, that when Dave says something is ludicrous, it is ludicrous., but when I say the same thing, "I" am ludicrous. Hubby has been doing great. If we ever had any extra money to spend before, hubby would have thought of frivolous ways to spend it. now he wants to save for a new roof and the kids education.

That in itself is amazing. His favourite saying before, was -- the banks has lots of money. now my world is upside down, and I dont know what to think BUT, I am NOt COMPLAINING...

Can I give you DH's cell phone # & have your DH call him? I had DH read Total Money Makeover...he "got it" for about a month, then it was back to his old frivolous ways...:/

Ha! when I read the book, I begged DH to read it, and he said, he doesn't need a book to tell him how to manage our money. I said, ok, well, lets make a plan for our money then. that was a few years ago. Our church has been offering FPU the last coupla years couldn't drag him to that either. Apparently though, listening to people on Dave's radio show, and hearing Dave's no nonsense attitude has had an effect on him. Do you get him on the radio where yo are? Maybe hearing him day after day will have an effect on your dh too? One can olnly hope
