New years is yet upon us again...
and time to reflect change...
i love my simple little life...
but my hubby works lots, and much of it falls in my hands
with a huge yard the house ...canning projects studio time and life,
i tend to not always be the best at keeping things imaculately together
my resolution..get it together......
My goals for the yard...is to incorporate...more, eddible perrenials,
jerusalem artichoke, asperagus, horseradish...kale, expand the herb garden,
clear out a back area and plant some apple trees...
embrace more of a can do attiude and build shelving, and reface the kitchen..

My SS resolutions for the new year are:

Get the chicken coops and runs situated to make room for the new layers and roo I want to bring in for spring. My 4 current hens will be 3 years old and I need to bring in a second shift to make sure we have enough eggs to make them worth the cost of keeping them. I'm also hoping to find a nice silkie or cochin that will be a good sitter and mother.

Finish the interior of the bedroom addition and paint the exterior of the house.

Install the wood burning stove we were able to pick up for $50 (score!!) from a friend of a friend. Gotta love that networking!!

Continue, with some (much) apprehension (see my journal), to rebuild the relationship with the lady up the road so that we can work together in her huge greenhouse to grow produce for both our families.

I, like WBF, also want to try to quit smoking (shudder)!

Happy New Year everyone and here's to accomplishing our goals! :thumbsup

One more thing--when you finish your "to do" lists, break your jobs down into much smaller ones, so that you don't dread and procrastinate getting them done. It took me FOREVER to figure THIS one out. =b
