Name that Tool

My phone crashed and it'll be a few days before I can fix that. I had some pics I wanted to upload here. :he

My son think it looks like a firemans tool to poke holes in a door to vent or to pull the door open. He thinks it's a fire hook.

I wish I had access to my parents old pictures right now, but they're 900 miles away. @CrealCritter, like stated by NHH, I think the old loggers poles looked just like that, used in upper Michigan and Wisconsin. My mom's grandfather was a logger, and my dad's uncle's ran the logging camps. We've got tons of great old pictures, I just don't have them here.

can I play?

hint IT is a tool

Same deal but on sand....

They had an old plank road crossing the desert in Imperial vally heading up to the Stage trail that crossed the mountains....

it seems the sand dunes covered it up and uncovers it now and then... Now most of it is lost.

Part of the Butterfield stage rout went past where I live... There are old rock buildings here and there that mark stage stops ....
