The thorns will also flatten your tires.

I had many a flat this year on my lawn mower because of them. Ended up filling the tires with slime to keep them up

They're a novelty to me. Their range is restricted due it's ancient nature, so it's not like any are naturally growing in northern areas.

Why don't you cut them down? They make great firewood I hear...

I'd cut then down and then decide I wanted to make my own bow or something. Never know, I might need them

We have the wrong climate for them or I'd plant a fence of them. The wood is good bow wood
