Me too... My son did a nice job on that. You could "age" wood with a propane torch. You just want to darken it with the flame but not set it on fire
My son has experimented with that here but I think he needs a steadier hand or to go slower...his tends to come out looking a little stripey.
Right now I'm experimenting with aging wood with the use of distilled vinegar and steel wool as a stain. Soaking this mix right now and will see how it comes out on the scraps before applying it to an entire wall of wood.
