If you can not break contact with him cause "he comes to your home" etc.......then tell him like it is and get it over with. Lay down the law. Nothing worse than a person invading your space when you don't want it.
Next time you get the feeling he "might be hittin on ya" tell him clear that you feel uncomfortable and tell him to cut the inneundos or whatever. If you do it fast and clean you will probably end up more of a friendship than war on your road.
